Douglas County Republican Party Involvement

When I retired from Rutgers University in 2013 and moved to Colorado, I immersed myself in Colorado politics. I became the Douglas County Coordinator for Dr. Ben Carson’s presidential campaign.

  • For the last several years, my involvement in the Douglas County Republican Party has included:
    Precinct Leader, Assistant District Captain, District Captain
    –Organized and conducted Caucus Trainings in my home; Coordinated GOTV (Get Out the Vote) trainings
    –Spent thousands of hours knocking on doors, making telephone calls, curing ballots for John Kellner’s campaign, and financially supporting Republican candidates at the local, county, state, and national level
  • Chairman of the Education Sub-Committee – Chaired a committee that developed Educational Principles regarding the Goal of Education, Roles and Responsibilities of Students, Parents, Teachers, the Curriculum, Administrators, Board of Education, and the Community.
  • Chairman of Resolutions Committee – Chaired a committee to sort through 260 Resolutions following caucus and streamlined the list to 89 proposed Resolutions that were voted on by the Douglas County Central Committee.
  • Member of Strategic Committee – Worked to develop strategies for Douglas County to elect conservative candidates to different local and state offices.

  • Elected Colorado National Delegate to the Republican National Convention, 2020
  • Elected Delegate to Republican County Assembly, Congressional District 4, 18th Judicial District and State Assembly
  • Elected Bonus Member to State, Congressional District 4, and 18th Judicial District
  • Elected Congressional District 4 Vice Chairman; served on the By-Laws Committee for CD4

  • Graduate of the Leadership Program of the Rockies, 2017 and member of the Douglas County Republican Women and the Lincoln Club of Colorado
